75 Years of Oatlands College
Seventy-five years of Oatlands College, marked on the school grounds with a buffet lunch for past pupils, past teachers, and the Christian Brothers who taught here.
The Christian Brothers established Oatlands in 1951. On Friday 2 October 2026 the College marked seventy-five years on the school grounds, with a buffet lunch from about half past one.
Who came
Past pupils of every year group, the teachers who taught them, and the Christian Brothers who ran the school for its first decades. For plenty of people it was the first time back inside the gate since the day they left.
How it went
A buffet lunch on the grounds, and a chance to walk the building again. The College hosted; the Past Pupils’ Union helped get word out to past pupils — most of what the Union is for.
